Pixar has recently shared a case study from Anders Nyman of Fido that goes behind the scenes of the Naturskyddsföreningen (The Swedish Society for Nature Conservation) project. It’s great to hear how the studio leveraged the power of both products to produce the very convincing Peregrine Falcon for a great cause!
Directed by Peter Lepeniotis, the teaser won for “Best Animated Short” at the 2012 3D Film Festival in Los Angeles and won for “Best Character Design” at the 2011 Animago Awards in Germany!
Peregrine has been working closely with Toonbox’s team over the last few years having been one of the first studios to adopt Yeti for a major animated feature production.
Enjoy the teaser as a brief taste of what’s yet to come!
The magical elves at Parasol Island have recently finished this beautiful Christmas spot for Karstadt in Germany and it’s our pleasure to be able to share it with you!
And if you’re interested in seeing how Yeti was used, be sure to check out this other little treat left under the tree – a big thank you to Paul Dreisen and the rest of the Parasol team.
